The Christmas Heat in Singapore

It was my first time to go to Singapore. Did not expect that it was hotter there (and I didn’t expect a high temperature on a Christmas season!). Singapore is easy on the eye– you won’t encounter any shanties while you roam around the city, unlike in Bangkok or Macau. I understand why some people say that Singapore can tend to be boring, because it is just a small city with malls brimming all over the place (won’t be boring of course if you have the money for a shopping spree).
But I love the place nevertheless. It’s always nice to see how progressive countries are. I’m looking forward to visit it again when Sands Casino, Resort World, and Universal Studios become open to the public.
I guess I'll be posting more often now because my favorite plug-in has finally updated. I can now post asides without breaking my template! Anyway, it's midterms week in law school land. I am determined to get higher grades this semester. This tells me that I should be cooped up in my room the whole day studying, but here I am, blogging. Ha. *will search for my Constitutional Law book now* (0 ♥)

You can find here Starbucks’s Chocolate cake, Dome cake, cheesecakes, and donuts. I heard their lava and orange poppy seed cakes are also a must-try!
The Mandatory Post about Law School

Law school examinations have already started in the Ateneo de Manila University School of Law and in the University of the Philippines College of Law. For certain, the applicants have been warned about what they’re getting themselves into. Before I took the exams last year, I already heard of many law school ‘horror stories’ from a lot of people—from my friends, officemates, relatives.
Even my boss, who has a daughter with a J.D. degree from Ateneo, warned me. “Sigurado ka na diyan sa desisyon mo ha? You know, my daughter always stayed up to around 3 in the morning just to finish reading her cases. I never thought she’d keep up with law school. If I were in her place, I wouldn’t have survived.”
My boss is one of the intelligent people I know. And he thought he wouldn’t survive in law school? I hoped he was just exaggerating.
Becoming 22

November 7, 2009:
1st drive to Tagaytay. Ate at Bag of Beans (my new favorite breakfast place in Tagaytay!) for breakfast. Went to Palace in the Sky to get a feel of the fog. Had a light lunch in Bon Giourno (my all-time favorite restaurant in Tagaytay). Had a great road trip with my best friend. 
Then I went straight to Greenbelt to have dinner in Flapjacks with my college friends. I was never a fan of pancakes, but I have to make an exemption with Flapjack’s pancakes. (That’s redundant, isn’t it? Flapjacks = pancakes in Australia)
